The Little Merman
The national icon The little Mermaid has got a counterpart in shape of a male sculpture. ”He” is designed by the artist duo Michael Elmgreen & Ingar Dragsets. We like the shinny appeal which is made by polished stainless steel. Location: the harbour in Helsingør.

Modern Art and Nordic Architecture
The museum of modern art Lousiana, has two new very interesting exibitions. Pink Caviar is an exhibition of new art, Louisiana has got since 2009 – e.g. Asger Jorn, Poul Gernes and many more. New Nordic is an exhibition of nordic architecture, among others, 3XN who also made the Star lamp for NOMA FoodLab, produced by Normann Copenhagen. Location: Gl Strandvej 13, 3050 Humlebæk.
Urban Dining
Radio is making very good nordic food which we love at Normann Copenhagen. An unpretentious restaurant located next to a beautiful old broadcastinghouse. The famous gastronomic entrepreneur Claus Meyer is the owner of this cosy restaurant. Location: Julius Thomsens Gade 12, Frederiksberg.

Fougaz in Torvehallerne
We looove homemade bread at Normann Copenhagen. Fougaz is making their bread from scratch – from grinding the flour to baking in their own oven inside the shop. The result is some delicius organic wholegrained bread. Yummy!! Location: Frederiksborggade 21, Copenhagen K
Late Night Ice Cream
In Gothersgade in Copenhagen, the popular italian-inspired ice cream shop, Paradis Is, is open until 6am in the morning. Instead of eating a heavy pizza or burger on your way home from a fun night out, enjoy a fresh homemade ice cream to-go. Location: Gothersgade 21B, Copenhagen K.
Barbequing in Østre Anlæg
Next to our Normann Copenhagen Flagship store and botanic garden is another very beautiful and cosy garden. Once it was part of the old city fortifications and almost haven’t been changed since 1871. The garden has good barbeque facilities, where you can use the public grills and benches. Location: Stockholmsgade 20, Copenhagen Ø is the main entrance.
Shop Scandinavian Design at ”Red Light District”
The Acne Shop in Pilestræde is certainly worth a visit. The inspiration comes from sex, drugs and naughtiness in Copenhagen, and you can definitely feel that, when you walk around in the red maze. Location: Pilestræde 34, Copenhagen K.
